Here's a little more...
KKG is a women's organization thriving on tradition, leadership, academics, and friendship. Their sisterhood is more than the three letters they wear. It is friendships that will last a lifetime, an opportunity to make a difference at Georgia Southern and in the Statesboro community, a learning experience, and the chance to be a part of something bigger than yourself.
Kappa Kappa Gamma was established in 1870 in Monmouth, Illinois and now has a total membership of over 260,000 women, 140 Collegiate chapters in the United States and Canada, and 307 alumnae associations worldwide.

Philanthropic Efforts
philanthropy focuses on mental health and well-being, with an emphasis on supporting organizations that promote mental health awareness, education, and resources. Their national philanthropic partner is the Jed Foundation, which works to protect emotional health and prevent suicide among young adults.
